This "doctor" told me to go do heroin for pain. He made it to where my uncle wouldn't even go to the ER in life threatening circumstances. He has done the same to myself. And now I read that that P.O.S. got an award for safety this year!

I've seen this doctor in the ER twice. The first time I was brought in after a car accident. I kept telling him that my ribs hurt, but he never even looked at them. I ended up having to go to my primary care doctor after 2 days of excruciating pain to find out that I had torn cartilage. I saw him again in the ER last night for severe abdominal and lower back pain. All he did was test my urine, then told me that he didn't know what was wrong, but that he was going to treat me for a UTI just in case. However, even my discharge paperwork said "Diagnosis - abdominal pain, but cause of pain has not been determined". I called my primary care office today, and even they sounded appalled that he didn't even bother trying to do more to pinpoint the cause of my pain (which is even worse today). I'm sorry, but this doctor is horrible. I understand that when you work in an ER you want to try your best to get the patients treated and out of there as soon as possible, but that shouldn't… mean completely ignoring their pain.

This doctor is as good as you can hope for in the emergency field. He is competent, insightful, compassionate, quick-thinking, and thankfully also very funny when appropriate. If I needed emergency care again, and especially if it was serious, I would be glad to have him at the helm.

He spent approximately 5 minutes on trying to revive my husband after a heart attack. I don't believe my husband was treated by the ambulance (Grand Ridge) or this doctor with any compassion for his condition. The Ottawa Squad should have been called. Ottawa was2 minutes away from us. Grand Ridge took approximately 18 minutes to arrive at my house. But we are in their district. So because my husband had to wait so long and there was no heartbeat on the ambulance, this doctor did not even try more than the 5 minutes but charged over $1000 for his attempt.
