Dr. Maude Carmel, MD

I went to Dr. Carmel for a 2nd opinion. After sitting in the waiting room for over 2 hours, I was finally taken back to an exam room. She came in about 20 min. later. Took health history even though I told her I just needed her opinion on the treatment I was had been given. She wasn't interested in giving that but wanted to do a pelvic exam on me. I told her again - just here for your opinion on what I am doing to heal my problem. She said she does an exam on all new patients. I told her I was not a new patient. She wouldn't have it and did the exam anyway. I've had 2 pregnancies w/ live births and have never had such a horrible exam as she gave. For the next 6 mos., my back & hip hurt so bad I couldn't walk some days. It took an orthopedist and PT to get me back to somewhat of a normal life again. Would never recommend Dr. Carmel to my worst enemy.

Dr. Maude Carmel,She’s such a good doctor and person. I had surgery prolapse bladder, she did great job. Love her. I will recommend her to every woman, who need that kind of surgery. Very carrying. Thank you so much. Blazena Houdek

Dr. Carmel is knowledgeable, personable, thorough, and answers questions in an easy-to-understand manner. She immediately picked up on things that other urologists had missed. She explains treatment options and related risks without making them seem scary. Treatment with her has been very beneficial to me.

She is one big know it all. Did nothing but hurt me.
