Dr. Maura Macdonald Barr, MD

I got an appointment in 2 days. Dr. Barr was not late, very pleasant, and competent. I will go to her again (hopefully not too often) and expect to be treated as nicely as I was yesterday. You will not be disappointed.

The Doctor told me that my problems fell under what she considered to be a nuisance diagnosis. Nonetheless, I kept an open mind, did a test she suggested, and accepted a prescription she offered. Her counseling and inattention to detail, and willingness to inform me of the many things I should be doing for the condition were very lacking. I had to find a new doctor because I need help. I left the practice and asked for my records to be sent to another doctor. They did not send the results of the expensive test I had done to my new physician. I don't think this was an oversight. I had to repeat the test all over again at additional expense.
