Dr. Maureen E Grosdidier, MD

I have had the priveledge of having Dr. Maureen Grosdidier as my Primary Care Physician for all of her career, over 30+ years. My children also saw her all of their pediatric age years and continue as an adult with their own children, now adults. For all of these she has been an outstanding physician, always taking whatever time was needed for our visits, always concerned about our total care, our family and our ongoing care which has expanded to many more specialists as my husband now has declining Parkinson’s Disease. She has responded even late in the evening whenever we needed to talk to her about a problem that couldn’t wait. She has explained her position in difficult situations when she was unable to assist and had to be referred to someone else. When we moved to Huntley, almost 40 miles away from her office in Park Ridge, we made the decision that we would never change PCPs until we were forced to because she retired. We hope it’s not soon although she certainly deserves… to enjoy these years. Even though she is in a different healthcare system from Northwestern Medicine now where the majority of our specialists are now we continue to be sure she has those records sent to her routinely. She is TRULY our Primary Care Physician and knows more about us and our entire immediately family than any other physician. She truly cares about Family Practice and is the ultimate role model for other psysicians entering this field. She makes a great mentor to any MD who crosses her path. I wish they could clone her. Maybe in her retirement years she will write a book on What It Means to be a Family Practice Physician. It’s like having the old time family dr. Who you went to for everything (but also waited 3 hrs. to see him). Dr. Grosdidier is also rarely late for her appts. She runs a very efficient practice with well trained, courteous staff who relay messages promptly and get back to you with her feedback within a very short time. We really appreciate their efficiently and know it comes from the primary source. Her expectations are obvious. Our family couldn’t rate her high enough, a 10+++!

Dr. Grosdidier is great. Explains everything. takes time, does not rush the appointment. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this office and all the Dr.s

Dr. Grosdidier is the BEST!!!!! Kind, compationate, empathetic, gives you her time, never rushes, actually listens and truly gets to know her patients! Dr. G is extremly knowledgable, searches for the best answer, treatment and care for you. She is everything you want and would expect a physician to be and so much more. Grateful, thankful and blessed to have found such a physician, I know I am in good hands! Her partners are amazing as well!!!!!

Dr. Grosdider is a very nice and knowledgeable doctor. She spends time to answer questions and calls you back with test results in a timely matter. She is easy to talk with and spends time listening to you.

I admit, I have never had a terrible disease, but have thought I did before. Seeing Dr. Grosdidier is like talking to your best friend. She is very knowledgeable, but makes you totally comfortable, answers all your questions, and doesn't hurry you out at all! I have recommended her to all of my friends and two of them go to her still.
