Dr. Maureen Ann Mooney, MD

Dr. Mooney and I talked together before my surgery. I had thoroughly read the "Micrographic Surgery MOHS" manual several times plus additionally did some on-line research about Frederic Moh. I had several questions which she readily answered. As she was doing my surgery, she kept me well informed. I felt very much at ease with Dr. Mooney, and as a patient, felt confident in her abilities. I loved the "Calmness" about her. I also would like to compliment Laurie the nurse that was working with Dr. Mooney. She made me feel comfortable immediately, and explained what would be happening in the surgery room. When I returned two weeks after the surgery, Laurie was the nurse that removed my stitches. By Dr. Mooney's removal of the infected areas of the basal carcinoma, the great work by Dr. Patel, the plastic surgeon and Laurie, removing the stitches so easily. I felt well taken care of at the Cascade Center in University Place. I will let Kaiser Permanente know about the excellent… treatment that I received from this Center. You can be so proud of the entire staff. I would highly recommend to family and friends your awesome Cascade Center. As a closing remark, I just have to add what a beautiful gift Dr. Frederic Moh has given to the world as the founder of MOH"s Micrographic Surgery. Sincerely, Rod Moore
