Dr. Maureen Margaret Regan, MD

Dr Regan is a trained internist who unsuccessfully attempted to build a family practice in Sonora CA, an area in great need of doctors. She left her failing practice to accept a position as an emergency room doctor at the Sonora Regional Medical Center. In my opinion, Maureen Regan was highly unprofessional and lacked common human decency in response to a patient who was injured while at the hospital. When his pain continued to increase and he was unable to rise from bed or walk on his own, aan x-ray and pain medication were requested. She refused both. When an x-ray was finally taken, only because it was demanded, it showed an injury that later required surgery.If you have an emergency and are assigned this doctor, I highly recommend you demand an alternative health care provider.
