Dr. Max Berdichevsky, MD

Dr. B. operated on my neck for pinched nerves this past March of 2024. He is an excellent surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone who needs surgery of this kind. I will be returning to him in November for a consultation on my back. All of his staff are very kind and knowledgeable.

Dr Berdichevsky did a fabulous job of reconstructing my hip and femur after a fall and break of them. Highly reccomendd!

Either during the surgery or post surgery during the hospital stay a nerve was pinched and I have a searing pain from my hip to my knee since then. It has been 2 months and that pain hurts much worse than my back.

I had L3-L4 disc putting pressure on left nerve group causing severe pain and limiting my ability to walk. Doctor Berdichevsky (Dr.B) gave me my options and we ended up doing a L3-L4 fusion. I was on my feet within 24 hours and walking 1-2 miles daily within 4 weeks. It's now been a year and I feel like my old healthy self. Although I was concerned after my first appointment with him, due to his direct manner, he proved to be the best doctor for my situation. He demonstrated his focus on me, the patient, listening to my concerns and requests, ensuring my health was where it needed to be both pre-op and post-op, and providing me the information I needed to make the best decisions for me. Dr. B's surgical work was flawless, resulting in the results being "a case of textbook perfection."

I was so nervous about having surgery on my neck ,,after talking with Dr.B I felt better about the surgery,,he is up front with you,but respectful about it,,I feel alot better after the surgery .I will highly give him a five star,,I would highly recommend him to people..

I am recovering from surgery very well and have no more numbness or tingling in my arms or hands. Thank you so much Dr. B

Had my lower back surgery on aug 24th, I was able to do things that were impossible prior to my surgery with in 6 weeks. Highly recommend Dr B for any back surgery.

My mother has been seeing Dr. Berdichevsky for a couple of years now, since she was the victim of a hit-and-run (she was a pedestrian when hit). He not only provided excellent and compassionate care, but also helped her navigate and address other issues caused by the accident that were prohibiting her from getting the much-needed spinal surgery he was going to perform. My mom finally was able to have her surgery in the summer of 2022. I flew out to be with her and help her post-surgery. I was lucky to be able to meet Dr. B and engage with him about the surgery and her aftercare. He was kind, compassionate, engaged, and supportive of both my mom and me. As a nurse and a lawyer, I’ve engaged with many physicians for a variety of reasons and I can honestly say that Dr. B is one of the best. My mother’s complicated surgery was performed flawlessly, he called me to discuss the outcome, and I’m happy to say that she is well on the mend. His post-op care continues to be top-notch. He’s… the doctor I would want for myself and my family. Truly one of the best.

Had vertiflex 2 in my back.Had been suffering over 3 years and had other procedures done Dr B explained what the vertiflex could and couldn't do. It's been about 3 week after surgery .I can get out of bed in the morning and walk Still have some pain but it takes time .No bending over no twisting no lifting .I believe Dr B did a great job and explained the expectations.would recommended Dr for this and any other problems. Dr Max Berdichevsky performed my spinal fusion at the Sierra Vista hospital. I was there for 3 additional days and he checked in with me each day. My first post surgery appt was a week after my release from the hospital and again 2 weeks after that one. He listened to all my concerns, was caring and compassionate and instilled confidence. Half the battle with surgery like this is a skilled surgeon and the other half is being a good patient and doing and not doing certain things required of you. I am 2 months post op and have had no issues whatsoever! I highly recommend him!
