Run, don’t walk from this doctor. He was to do a repair on my knee and did so much I was bone on bone and ended up 6 months later having a knee replacement with Dr. Sah. For those 6 months after Dr. Unzo, I was in agony and his anesthesiologist did some real damage, Dr. Goldman. My knee replacement was a walk in the park compared to my post surgery with Dr. Unzo and his gang!!! Would not give him one star but there was no 0 to rate him.

Worst orthopedic surgeon I've ever had the displeasure to meet. First he Misdiagnosed me , then Unfortunately he operated on my leg, still have pain after 8 months. Poor communication skills. Zero empathy. Disregards pain & concerns. Went in for a follow up, i told him I had locking and popping in my knee , he's epic response was, " it's all in your head". I will never forget those words, because I recorded him saying those exact words. A Lawsuit would serve him right.

Dr. Nuzzo is one the top orthopedic surgeons in Fresno. As a WC nurse I send as many patients to him even those who have had surgery by other orthopedics that failed. Very knowledgeable and he never stops learning, very active to improve the lives of those under his care.

I never would go anywhere else for my family’s orthopedic needs. So thankful to Dr Nuzzo for taking care of all of my family........hes’s the best ortho doc.

Very compassionate and very caring surgeon. He genuinely cares about his patients. What I like most is his conservative approach. He doesn't rush you into surgery unnecessarily like another orthopedic surgeon in town.
