Dr. Max Lawrence Harris, MD

Highly knowledgeable about the whole body / brain connection, very easy to talk to, excellent staff. I will be 60 soon and have never had the good fortune of seeing a specialist of his caliber for any of my many maladies. I would drive 3 hours each way to see him if I had to, I say this because I'm moving but I'm going to continue to make the trip to see him. The best, and I'm grateful to know him.

I've been a patient of Dr. Harris for over 10 years. He's the most thorough doctor I have and I trust his judgement 100%. He's the best!!

It was my first and last appointment. He was very odd! He did not go over any of my medications and my daughter handed him a copy of a bone density test that I had recently at another facility, because I wanted to discuss treatment with him about that also. He just starred at it with an odd look on his face. He said a page was missing yet it was a complete record. I had Boniva injections in the past and in just bringing anything up he would not say or offer anything at all even seeming annoyed. I have Fibromyalgia and asked about Gabapentin and he just said so you want me to start you on Gabapentin? In mentioning exercise, I told him that I go to the YMCA with my daughter. She was at the appointment with me and he became agitated saying "but how will you get there?" I had just said, and then my daughter said that she works evenings so we go during the afternoon. He seemed to struggle during the entire appointment to say or do anything other than just stand there not saying anything and… this seems to be just what he intended to do. Complete waste of time!

He is a very bad dr . I had the question regarding one of the medicine . This guy never returned my call . I waited for 10 days left several messages . He has no courtesy to return my call . I had an accident and fractured my tooth and since I take Reclast infusion so I had to get clearance from him to get my dental treatment , Because there are severe side effects involve , but I guess it's not important for him . I give him zero star . I do not recommend any body to go to him and his staff were not cooperated either .

In my opinion, Dr. Harris is the type of doctor that all doctors should aspire to be. He really gets to know you as a patient and never rushes through an appointment. Of course this makes his wait times long but I promise it's completely worth it. He really cares for the total well being of his patients. He doesn't just treat an immediate illness. He offers ideas, solutions, and referrals for total well being. Quality of life is very important to me. I really could go on and on about how wonderful he is. Thanks Dr. Harris!

Dr. Max Harris spent more time with me than most Dr's do. He made sure he had all info before he let me go home.

Dr. Harris is an outstanding physician. The wait time in the ofice is well worth it because he spends time listening to his patients and does not rush through an appointment. Would recommend him to anyone. Wish there were more doctors like him.

Dr. Harris is the kindest, most knowledgeable and the best physician that spends the time to communicate, educate, listen and comfort his patients. I have recommended him to numerous people that suffer from symptoms of rheumatologic disease. Feedback to me from others also feel the same way. Dr. Harris is an authentic and respectable physician.
