Dr. Max R Steuer, MD

It has been a year since my ACDF surgery. There was a lot of nerve damage, and I was in pain several months before the surgery. Over the year, the pain has subsided, and I am now completely pain free, have good range of motion, and feel that I am completely cured. Dr. Steuer took an extra amount of time to perform the surgery, making sure that everything was perfect surgically. His office staff is great. August was a big help. Thanks!

Dr. Steuer performed spinal surgery on me years ago and I have been a physical wreck ever since. I have been in severe pain ever since he did the surgery. No doctor will help me with another surgery or pain. I went back to talk to him and he dismissed me immediately and told me he did the surgery he couldn’t be wrong. I have lived in misery every since I stepped into that operating room. ????????

My husband had spine surgery performed yesterday. Dr. Steuer and Carter are nothing less than magnificent! There is not one negative thing I can say about the Doctor and his staff! Everything was very detailed and planned accordingly. Not once was there a glitch or lack of communication. From start to finish, it could not have been more perfect. After years of arm pain and partial immobility, my husband has his arm back and is able to feel me holding his hand. Time to get back to cuddling! Thank you, Dr. Steuer and Carter! If there was a rating for 10+, you would earn it. None are better than you!!!

Acustic nueroma surgery 1995. very large one, this was before Gama Knife was around.I've since been told this could not be used for one this large anyway.I am 81yrs old

Unfortunately I have been through many surgeries but Dr. Max Steuer is by far the best surgeon I have ever had. The same day I had surgery I felt great no pain even the surgery site did not hurt. I had to have 2 fusions done and after the nurse gave me my second dose of pain medication I told them I did not need anymore and just took Tylenol which they where surprised by but I had no pain. Doctor Steuer explained everything in detail prior to the surgery and gave me the opportunity to ask plenty of questions. When I was not seeing doctor Steuer I saw Mr.Carter who if I had not been told I would have thought he was another surgeon due to his extensive knowledge and care, he was with me for anything I needed as well as had the answer to any additional questions. I have spoken to a lot of people that had the same surgery as I did and they can not believe I am feeling 100% better after just 3 weeks when it took them 6 months or more to heal. I can not thank Polaris Spine enough when I… went in I could barley move and the same day I had the surgery I felt a 100% better.
