Dr. Maxie Courtland Sprott II, MD

Had my second child with dr. Sprott. He did an amazing job with my C-section and my after care . Most of his staff is amazing and other rude.

I have been coming to Vida and Dr Sprott for years. For all 3 of my pregnancies and most recently my hysterectomy. I appreciate the care and direct response to my questions.. A lot of people say Dr Sprott is mean, but honestly he’s just very direct. I would much rather someone tell me the facts than to sugar coat a problem. I can’t brag enough about all the help Dr Sprott’s surgery scheduler was too. Jess has been with Dr Sprott for a long time, she scheduled my last c-section and now my hysterectomy. She does everything in such a way that I understood exactly what was going to happen. Jess even called me after surgery to check in because I was so scared. I love this office and I highly recommend Dr Sprott and his team. They made sure I was taken care of and that my surgery was a success.

at the age of less than 21 I was basically forced to have my tubes tied by Dr. Sprott. I was days from my 21 birthday and my second child. Dr. Sprott informed me to sign the papers for the tubal and date if for my birthday which was a few days away. Naive I did it and now at the age of 50 I have always felt like something was missing and i'm sure it was the baby that I never had. Shame on you Dr. Sprott.

He does not test you with care, and has no sympathy for his patients. Steer clear!

I called at about 12:15 and they put me on hold for 15 minutes without seeing what I needed, and then picked up the phone and hung up on me at 12:30 p.m. When I tried to call back, I find out that apparently the office goes to lunch for 2 and a half hours starting at 12:30. Thanks for completely wasting my time.

This is the worst office I have ever dealt with. I had an appointment at 2 o clock in the afternoon and waited for the doctor in the office until 4:45 until I finally left without being seen because the doctor never showed up. I called their office today to try and request medical records so that I could change doctors and I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then was hung up on only to call back and find out they took lunch early and I would have to now wait until 2 pm to call back. Also, during my first visit, I didn’t even see the doctor I requested I saw a random mid wife who didn’t even give me barely 5 minutes to discuss anything. I had legit concerns that I wasn’t even given the chance to discuss. This doctors office truly sucks.

Lacks compassion when speaking to me. As a patient I felt scared already as it was my first appointment with an obgyn and he made it worse. I felt like I was being judge rather than helped.

He did my hysterectomy 6 years ago and now I have nothing but pain and hurting he is not a good dr to go to for surgery

Saw the NP that said it was HER PRACTICE. Said she owned it. She was very rude, dismissive and unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone!

I went to him in trust of thinking he new what he was doing. Well he did nt he told me after the surgery tjat he took everything out well he didn't the staff was rude an it wS VERY HARD TO GET A FOLLOW UP VISIT. NEVER REXAMEND ANYONE TO SEE HIM IT WAS OVER 25MINUTES U HAD TO WAIT TO SEE HIM THIS WAS 4YES A GO I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS THAT SHOULDNT HAVE ACURED
