Dr. Meena Kumari Singh, MD

My experience with this office and with Dr. Singh was unfortunately unpleasant after three office visits. I waited six months to get into her initially for hair loss concerns. Others have mentioned the rude staff in the office in other reviews-I would agree with this. Dr. Singh was overall curt, fast, and extremely arrogant in both live visits. I am in healthcare and understand what a caring doctor looks like. She did a biopsy of a spot on my head that "was concerning". Showed up to have stiches removed and was told she was out sick and "why are you even here". They could have called. At redo appointment, again asked "why are you here". Dr. Singh came into room with four other nurses and began peppering me with hair loss treatments. Again curt and fast. So fast my head was spinning. Left there so confused about treatment options and pricing from $300-$16,000 with "no good data" to support one over another. "I don't have any head to head studies so don't even ask". To me… this place is in it for the cash and her behavior supports this. Maybe she is having a bad end of 2021 as time are hard for everyone. But treatment like this is unacceptable and her arrogance is astonishing. My personal dermatologist confirmed this after I told him what had taken place. He laughed and said he hears this all the time of her and that practice. Buyer beware!

After already rescheduling my appointment 3 times, I was notified I needed to reschedule again. I called the office and was asked to leave a message because they couldn't be bothered to have enough staff to answer the phones. My call was not returned. After one week of calls and messages I finally reached a human and was told I would need to wait 4 months to be seen. After having a cancer removed more then a year ago with all of my followup visits to see if the cancer was gone rescheduled, I still don't know if the surgery was a success. Unfortunately, at this point I feel I must find another doctor.

I was a patient of dr Singh's for a year and a half. When a woman losses her hair there is nothing she won't do. On my first visit I had many questions she didn't not sympathize with my plight. She seemed bothered by the fact that I would ask her questions. She also seemed annoyed. I let it go because I was desperate. Others I new had told me about her personality and that even after treatment they loss there hair. But I was desperate and my insurance paid for it so why not. The thing she didn't tell me is more and more women are experiencing hairloss. In most cases it's an autoimmune issue therefore there is no cure. So she is like many companies and doctors treating desperate people with expensive treatments that act like a bandaid. Dont waste your money or time.

Dr. Singh is brilliant and caring. Very pleasant and expert in dermatology.
