Dr. Megan Joy Dejong, MD

I had my first appointment with Dr Megan Dejong this week. I found her highly professional. She has a warm personality and took the time to answer all of my concerns. I would highly recommend her.

Appointments get canceled. Wait for 2 months. No call back when trying to refill prescription

I have been seeing dr for about 6 months now throughout my pregnancy. She is WONDERFUL but her staff is so mean. Erica.. she makes me feel terrible asking for things or if I need to reschedule or if I need advice on stuff such as I had a terrible cold and I called to see if I can take anything, her response was, "well if it was me I wouldn't have even called bc i would never take anything pregnant" she also made me feel a little bad when my husband and I chose to do genetic testing. I don't know, I just would have wanted a little warmer of a person to chat with when you call or to schedule appointments, not someone that makes me feel like I'm already failing when my baby isn't even born yet .

I love this office. Kristen and Erica are so nice. I always feel cared for when I go in.

Dr. Megan was sweet and kind. Her exam was not painful. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, she was supportive and efficient. She had an appointment made already with the breast surgeon, when she called. I can't say enough kind words to express my confidence in her expertise. She treats her patients in a very caring way.

Dr. DeJong saved my life when i came into the ER and she made a quick decision to take me to surgery. She has been always pleasant and caring. I would recommend her to anyone.

Staff is horrible not polite very rude appointment takes forever Doctor is just as rude as nurses and staff wouldn't recommend ever! I switched because of thEse issues and now I'm very happy I did.

This dr was great but I agree with the other post that the staff was very bad. They are not helpful and the wait time is unreal. I waited a full hour and was the only one in the office from what I saw. I wasn't updated during that time and the staff was just plain rude. You would think they would have a nicer crew because the dr is so new. The staff is the backbone to a company. I went to dr Doha and flossi instead and they are wonderful!!

This Dr office is a complete JOKE!! I have been her 4 times for prenatal visits and each time I have been treated so rude by the receptionist Tiffany and the rude Tech (calls her self a nurse) Kathy, They make your whole experience either good or bad, and let me tell you they make it BAD! They are the first people that you see so you would think Dr Dejong would want someone more friendly working for her. I have 2 other girlfriends that have switched out of Dr Dejongs practice for the same ignorance. The Dr herself is so nice and sweet so it is very unfortunate that her staff can have such a negative impact on her patients. The wait time for a simple weigh in visit, where all they need to do is take the mothers weight, vitals, and listen to the babies heartbeat is over an hour EVERY TIME!! That takes literally 5 minutes and is on a biweekly basis and takes over an hour every time... totally unacceptable. When I asked the receptionist AND tech for an appointment where it wouldnt… be as long they said that is their standard wait time and that "this Dr is just so overbooked". Needless to say, I switched to a different Dr. Bottom line, Do not even go to Dr Dejong- The whole experience was terrible, supossed to be such an amazing time for a soon to be mother and it was awful!
