Dr. Megan Lochner, MD

I have been going to Dr. Lochner for over a decade, and she just delivered my daughter via c-section a few weeks ago. She is simply the best, as is her team. Compassionate, smart, funny, skilled...everything a great doctor should be!

the sonogram woman ( the younger one) is snotty and nasty. My husband and I were so excited to see our baby and she literally had no expression and made me feel bad for even being excited! What an awful feeling. And the secretaries there are so short over the phone. This has been an issue there for years. I hate calling there because they are so nasty and make you feel bad for calling. I do love the doctors but it is getting more difficult to stay there.

Dr. Megan Lochner is the WORST doctor I have ever been to in my life. After explaining to her how nervous I was about a gynecological examination, she couldn't understand why I'd be nervous and asked if I'd ever been sexually abused. She also failed to tell me that there would be a "Chaperone" in the room watching me get my exam. When I told her how uncomfortable I was with an audience, Dr. Lochner got very short with me and said she needs to be in the room due to NYS law. She then proceeded with the examination and hurt me so badly, I literally almost fell off the exam table. Anyone with a brain knows that when you are nervous (which she knew I was) muscles will tighten. She paid no attention to this and couldn't have been less gentle, making me believe she hurt me on purpose. I also informed her that I was planning on conceiving. She never mentioned prenatal vitamins...Thankfully I have a wonderful PCP who prescribed them to me after this horrible ordeal. I am now pregnant… and would never trust Dr. Lochner delivering my baby. After my appointment, I was so embarrassed and in so much pain, I cried for an entire hour. The pain lasted for a week and I was so scared she may have caused damage. Please, if you are looking for a gynecologist, look elsewhere!!! Find someone with compassion, which Dr. Megan Lochner completely lacks.

Dr. Lochner is amazing! By far, the best Gyn I've seen. She takes her time, has an excellent bedside manner and is always running in or close to on time. The office is super clean, and the staff is so friendly. I recommend her to everyone I know!

Dr. Lochner is the best gyn I have even been to! She makes me feel very comfortable and her personality is so warm. I would recommend to every woman, especially if you get an uneasy feeling and anxiety about going to the doctors.

I was referred to this physician from a friend who also eventually left the practice. When I went, the time spent was minimal, the Dr. Seemed distracted, and a serious situation I had was neglected.

Dr. Lochner is hands down the BEST doctor that I have ever come across. I have been going to her for about 6 years, she did my c-section (I hardly even have a scar), all of my routine GYN care and a "difficult" IUD removal that turned out not to be difficult for her. She did it quickly, painlessly and left me extremely relieved and grateful that she made it so easy. I recommend her to all my family and friends - they also cannot say enough about what an awesome doctor Megan Lochner is.
