Dr. Megan H Nelson, MD

I had an appointment with Dr. Nelson last week that was exceptional. I’m very shy about my body image...it’s tough being overweight and undergoing a physical examination by a “total stranger.” Dr. Nelson put me at ease, addressed all of my concerns, and she also gave me some alternatives that I had not previously considered. After spending the weekend thinking about the real possibility of significant weight loss and attaining some quality of life again, I was anxious to explore my options. She and her staff helped get the ball rolling, and on Wednesday this week, thanks to some weather-related cancellations, I have three appointments. Dr. Nelson and her staff are very proactive and they take a whole body approach when reaching a solution. I’m very thankful to have met her. For the first time in years, I have a bright outlook ahead.
