She brings a strong academic and clinical background to her practice, having earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences from Clemson University, followed by an M.S. in Biological Sciences and Anthropology from Duke University. She completed her M.D. at the UNC School of Medicine and went on to complete her psychiatry residency at Duke University.
