Dr Meghan E. Hayes, MD

I am a physician and I have an artificial disc in my neck. So I had a fall and hurt my neck with pain shooting down my right arm and numbness behind my right elbow. I call Meghan Hayes to request an MRI. She says she cannot order it unless she sees me in the office. Meghan Hayes, do you know that I went to the Emergency Room that day? And I am a physician like you who knows my body bette than you. I know the symptoms better than you because I have also been a patient with neck disc herniation. She tells me that it’s a $2000 test and “doesn’t want to waste money”. Let me tell you, I pay $16000 a year in my PPO insurance and you are saving the insurance company $2000?? Really? Should I file a complaint against you to the medical board?

Dr. Hayes has been nothing but supportive of me with my health issues. She really listens to you and takes time with you. She's good in referring your case out to a specialist if needed. Couldn't ask for a better primary care doctor.

I have never, ever experienced such phenomenal medical care as I did with Dr. Hayes. She was always caring, thorough and provided a perfect amount of information about my condition. She relaxed me through a very difficult situation (pregnancy induced hypertension) and would call me on the weekends and her days off to check on me after we modified my meds or ran additional blood work. As she is a specialist, I will not be seeing her anymore but I sincerely hope I can continue to find medical providers as wonderful as she has been to me.
