Dr. Meghana Gowda, MD

The worst experience I've ever had with a medical provider. No bedside manner. She does not see healthcare as a partnership, but instead had a doctor/god complex. Only her thoughts are valid but she won't take time to explain it. I have never left a review for a doctor, but I was compelled to warn others. Find another provider. Go out of town if you need to. But don't put yourself through the waste of time and energy to meet with someone who has zero empathy, zero answers, and rushes you out.

I have been experiencing truma with dr. Meghana Gowda. They drop me like a hat after I address the issue of what she did to me.She was not telling the truth...but she cover up the other dr.

Have been going to Dr. Gowda for about 2 years. On two occasions my husband and I had a consultation with her. She listened to our concerns and answered all our questions. My husband made the comment that she looks like she really cares about her patients. Have also had occasion to deal with her nueses and nurse practicioner and have found the too to be caring and courteous. Went to gynecoloist just recently and mentioned upcoming surgery. She asked who was doing my surgery. When I told she said that was who she would have sent me to,that she was the best. I would highly recommend Dr. Gowda.

Dr. Gowda treated my 88 year old mom who suffered from UTIs for years. She put her at ease during procedures and explained carefully even with Mom having dementia.

Dr. Gowda and her staff are extremely rude! She delegates much of her patient care to others. She did not address any of my concerns or offer any valid explanations as to why I was experiencing such extreme vaginal pain and discomfort. After traveling 100 miles plus to visit Virginia Urology , not one physician, including Dr. Gowda, could diagnose my chronic pelvic pain. Instead I was rushed out of their office, left with an $1,000 bill and an emergency room visit.
