Dr. Mehar Iqbal, MD

Literally the worst office staff I've ever seen . Every time I try to talk to anyone there its ridiculous. Dr is rude and no help at all. So I took a half day off work to go get blood work done and I called a hour before my appt. To pick up the paperwork as I always have and am told could I pick it up this afternoon. No I cant because my appt. Is at 11am so she tells me they have a new system and they are busy. Omg so I rescheduled my appt. Which sucks because I have an ear infection right now. So are they gonna pay me for the time I had to miss work ? No . Everything is at there convenience its crazy.

I have to say we are blessed to have Dr Iqbal and her all team to be our Family Doctor. One of best and most professional and courteous doctor I had ever came across. She always go above and beyond to take care of her patients. My dad recently had to go emergency and we cannot thanks enough to Dr. Iqbal for her follow ups and assigning care for my parents. Truly appreciate it. I definitely would like to take this Opportunity to say thanks to Dr. Iqbal and her all team Including Salma/Maria Sorry don’t remember all names but you all are extremely caring towards my family. 1st average wait time is 40-45mins, the nurse/assistant gave me a 4 page questionnaire 40 mins into my wait to fill it out. 2nd, I am there for the dr to look at a lump in my armpit but also for a rash that has developed on my body in the last couple days. Dr. Iqbal says she couldn't find when my last mammogram was so i told her it was last year and it came back fine, she then said "it came back normal then and that swelling in the armpit during your menstrual is normal" SHE DID NOT EVEN CHECK THE LUMP. She simply dismissed it b/c its "normal for that during a menstrual" I then began to tell her about these hives all over my body and i show her pictures of my skin with white welts & red around it. She then says "it sounds like from what your telling me & the pics your showing me, that you have scabies" MIND YOU THE DOOR TO MY ROOM IS WIDE OPEN. She begins to tell the nurse/assistant who is in the nurse station 2 doors down from my room and says " DID YOU TAKE HER BLOOD PRESSURE?, YES… OR NO" the nurse tells her something and she did not hear so she says, "I DO NOT WANT YOU TAKING BLOOD PRESSURE ON PEOPLE WHO COME IN WITH RASHES, SHE HAS SCABIES AND IT WILL GET ALL OVER MY BLOOD PRESSURE WRAP " I was completely mortified. First I don't know what scabies is, she didn't even tell me. I told this dr that i was in urgent care the day before bc of this rash and the doctor said it looked like hives and requested Dr. Iqbal to order a 3 allergy blood panel for me. I asked Dr. Iqbal, what is scabies? and is it contagious, is that why you are telling the nurse not to take my blood pressure on your machine? She said "its extremely contagious" She then looked up on her phone a pic of scabies and asked me "is this what it looks like on your body?" I said , " NO,my rash looks nothing like this picture your showing me." so she tells the nurse who again is outside of the room "She doesn't believe me she has scabies, so i don't know if she wants the cream medication prescription for it or not" At that point, i was upset. I told Dr. Iqbal its not that i don't believe you, but my rash looks nothing like the picture your showing me. Dr. Iqbal then walks over to me and pulls down my shirt on my right shoulder and says i see right here" and walks away. I told her what do you see? I have no single red markings anywhere on my body like the picture you showed me, i have white welts (hives) Its not that i don't believe you." I felt, since she did not even exam my body nor did she ask enough questions, i just felt that her diagnosis was made with lack of care or concern. *****I have never in my life been treated like this from a professional. My privacy was violated. The doctor NEVER checked my body for the lump or the rash!! Even worse, she received a phone call at the end and started talking, she told whoever it was she was with a patient, but continued to talk (this happened last time i was there) and i said "am i done?" she nodded yes. SERIOUSLY??? Apparently there are 2 Iqbals in that office, one is the MD & the other is the Dermatologist. This review is for the MD.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BADLY BY A SO-CALLED DOCTOR, DO NOT SEE HER EVER.. SHE HAS NO BUSINESS BEING A DOCTOR, SHAME ON HER, PLEASE BE CAREFUL

I have never seen a doctor worse than her. She is so rude to her patients. She will treat you horrible if you ask her questions about your health. She’s only after the money , and will treat you so bad depending on your insurance. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone especially to Pakistanis . Because she treats Pakistanis so bad even though she is a Pakistani also

I have seen Dr. Iqbal since I was a child. She is very trustworthy, caring, and honest.

If i could give less than 0 stars i would have given that , Dr. Mehar Iqbal was our PCP from one year almost, day by day her behavior was getting rude after reminding every 3 years of what happened to the wheelchair request for my dad, after being asked that why are you not prescribing it.. she has discriminated and declined by saying i think he cannot work because he cannot stand. She started yelling and told that we are not your servants , and you Pakistanis are like that (even she herself is one) There is a long list of her and staff being rude many times she is the doctor who is always after your money , she is a total b**** not this time doctor , we will take you to the court.

I called for my first well women visit and was told by the RUDE receptionist that the doctor only sees sick patients. She told me go see a OB/GYN. I finally convinced her to make me an appointment. When I went for my visit, I waited well over an hour. There were 3 women that came after me, that were seen before me. I felt I was treated unfairly because of the insurance I had. They made me feel ashamed. Every time I call in, the receptionist is always ready to argue with you. I asked the receptionist for a new authorization because the doctor that I was going to see isn't accepting my insurance. She replied, "There aren't many doctors accepting your insurance and laughed". First impression means everything. This experience was absolutely horrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND..

I would never recommend this doctor. Her staff - both the receptionist and nurse assitant are rude and so disorganized. Best advice I can give - Find another doctor.
