Dr. Mehrnaz Hojjati, MD

Dr Hojjati is one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I have ever seen. She is very nice, caring and professional. As a patient you feel very comfortable under her care.

Cant ask for more

I went to see Dr. Hojjati a few years ago for symptoms that she eventually diagnosed as Raynaud's. I don't dispute her diagnosis but her bedside manner and attitude needed more work for sure. She was extremely condescending and off-putting; I echo another reviewer who said she slouched in her chair and acted as if she had more important things to do. I her saw a second time because I was scared, didn't know what was going on and thought that maybe I got the wrong impression of her the first time. At the second appointment, she was even worse, and did nothing to reassure me, only left me feeling stupid for not knowing what was going on. As we were walking out, the receptionist asked if I wanted to schedule a follow-up (per Hojjati's recommendation) my reply was, "How about I give you a call on that,” and left as fast as I could, not looking back. My guess is that her off-putting attitude and dreadful bedside manner are why she's one of the few rheumatologists accepting new patients.

I saw her about 3 times before i finally switched drs. I love my new rhumo. She never spoke when she first came in the room. would jusr sit and stare at the computer. The. would just spit a bunch of things at me i didn’t understand and wouldnt explain. (When i saw my new rhumo , there astonished my old rhumo didnt explain anything to me) She didn’t understand why psoriasis was or explain what the outcome was. just stated youll get worse. As a scared 20 year old you would think she explain more. She prescribed me ibuprofen type meds despite my history gastrointestinal issues. Both my primary and gastronalogist didn’t understand her thinking. I only gave her 2 stars cause she diagnosed me correctly.

Dr.Hojjati is new at Loma Linda . I read about her credentials and decided to see her for my condition . She reviewed all my records and examined me thoroughly . she came up with the right diagnosis that so many doctors had missed in the past . she is so kind and caring . during the following weeks , she called me several times to see how I was doing !! topnotch doctor!!

So Compassionate ! She is an ANGEL

My previous RA doctor was fantastic ,compassionate and knowledgeable. She was not particularly friendly. A little cold at first She was a bit cold at first but warmed up a bit before appointment was over. She appeared to knowledgeable regarding my RA. Depending on how my next visit goes will determine if I will keep her as my doctor.

I found her to be knowledgeable, warm, welcoming and friendly. She knew about my rare disease which really surprising to me, as up to this point, had seen lots of doctors and none of them knew about my disease.

Feel lucky to have dr Hojjati as my doctor .She is out standing !
