Dr. Meiraj Fatima Zuberi, MD

Dr. Zuberi has helped me get my sugar under control. My previous endocrinologist was just going through the motions with me. Dr. Zuberi was truly interested in getting me to a better level of health. Everytime I go see Dr Zuberi at her Morris, IL location, it is at least an hour to two hour wait. I called a week prior to my appointment to get an order faxed for a lab in my area, and I go to get the lab, and there's no order faxed. Impossible to get ahold of anybody unless you're changing an appointment, in which they send you to a voicemail that may not get answered for days. Totally disregards my time, and the things I, as a patient, might have going on. I will mention that she did change my medication and it did wonders for me, but being able to follow up in a good manner of time, is impossible! Also, Dr Zuberi does NOT check your labs until you get there, which I think is irresponsible as a physician, especially a specialist! She jam packs those patients in everyday, and just sees them as she feels like it. Waste of time, energy, money, and the most unprofessional physician I have EVER worked with.

I had to quit because of her staff and because she does not look at the results of your blood test until you are there for your appointment. My TSH is supposed to be 0.5 and it went up to 32. I called the office but was told, numerously, that the doctor would talk to me at my appointment. 11 days later, I went for my appointment and she said the labs were wrong and sent me to get retested. By that time, I was up to 48. By the time she put in my new prescription (her computer was down), my TSH was a 52. I have to travel further, to see my new doctor, but he reads my labs when he receives them, and doesn't wait until I am in his office. Plus, I can call anytime and the staff is very polite and efficient.

Great doctor

As a general rule, I don't like going to see doctors, but I consider Dr. Zuberi was a godsend. She took the extra time to make sure I understood everything, and did a wonderful job explaining. She is the kindest doctor I ever encountered, and that is the best medicine of all. Thank you so much.

Dr. Zuberi took ample amount of time to explain my condition to make me feel more comfortable.She doesn't rush you,answered all my questions.Very empathetic and knowledgeable. Have referred quite a few of my family members and friends to her.

She ran the most basic blood test for hormones.Told me there was nothing wrong.I saw a different doctor my thyroid is very high and my cortisol was off.she has no idea what she is doing.

Decent doctor, but forget about it if you ever want to contact the office, or get help from office staff on insurance or billing issues at all. No one EVER answers the phone. Constant run around on automated menus. So frustrating.

Dr. Cancels appointments often and then when your rescheduled it seems to be in between other appointments so you wait atleast 45min after schedule time to see Dr. Dr. zuberi and her staff are attentive and courteous though.

Dr Zuberi is a very kind and compassionate physician. I am blessed to have found her for my Diabetes. After 12 years with this disease and related problems I feel like she addresses each one and takes the time. Anyone with Diabetes knows this is a hard disease to live with and she remains positive and does not treat you as if you failed.
