Dr. Meko Yvette Porter, DO

Dr. Porter is one of a kind! More doctors should be like her. She always listens to your concerns and addresses them in a way you can understand. She will notice things that other doctors have missed. My husband and I look forward to our visits with her since we know she will not tell us it is nothing to worry about!

By far one of the friendliest and most empathetic specialist I have ever met. She held off my first visit until she got all the reports from my former neurologist, my brain MRI, and my sleep study which I greatly appreciated as she wanted to be very thorough in her evaluation of my medical condition. She might not wear your classic doctors garb but the person who gave her a bad review because of the way she dressed just seems outrageously bias. She presents herself very well just cuz she doesn't want to wear a white doctor's coat.

Let's start with unprofessional presentation. She looked like a waitress or someone on the street. She lacks empathy. I would not recommend her to anyone.

My husband stated that he never had a doctor give such important & valuable info ... answer questions of concern & make him feel so at ease ... She is Wonderful!

It seems the comments all give 5 stars or 1 star. I think it boils down to personality, and my take is that she is a warm and caring person who takes the time to explain EVERYTHING to you. I have absolute faith in her professional skills and enjoy her outgoing personality.

My experience with Dr. Porter has been nothing less than sensational. Her knowledge and ability to explain the complexities of the brain in simple terms is much appreciated. Her pleasant personality and warmth are an example for service professionals everywhere. Highly recommend.

Ordered all the necessary testing but when all was negative she dismissed me without listening to my questions. Arrogant and dismissive and it is "her way or the highway". Not professional in appearance at all. Would never recommend her to anyone.
