BOTCHED SIMPLE cataract surgery. Initial surgery, she discharged me without placing a lens. She claimed I was not complying. Anesthesia had worn off and I felt excruciating pain. 35 days later, Richard Carlin had to place the lens - 2nd surgery on left eye. For more than 2years I had very limited sight. Recently, I had to have a corneal transplant. I went to Emory for cataract surgery on my right eye. I walked out without pain or problems.

I was seen by Dr. Bennett-Sims due to an injury to my eye. I had a VERY large corneal tear, about the size of my contact. I called three opthamologist's offices trying to get in asap. I was sent to voicemails for two of them and this office was the only one that let me speak to a person. Getting in quickly was important, as my injury was two days old, and due to a holiday, I had only been seen at a minute clinic and my eye was swollen shut by this point. Her office had me come right over. Side note, it took 3, and 4 hours for the other offices to even return my call. I had help in the office as soon as I walked in the door. Dr. Bennett-Sims quickly helped alleviate my pain and got me taken care of. I saw her three times in a week and then for a two week follow up. She was genuinely concerned. My only little complaint was none of the other clinical staff that helped her was the same on any day I went, although they were all pleasant.

Dr. Bennett-Sims was exceptional in her diagnosis and in her detailed and precise removal of my chalazion. She and her nurse, Heather made me quite comfortable,and answered all of my questions. I recommend them highly. The entire CarlinVision Team was very competent and caring.

Dr. Sims is a excellent surgeon, great bedside manner, very informative, takes time with patients.
