Dr. Melanie K. Trost, MD

I have been seeing her for an eating disorder for a year and half. She is very thoughtful, responsible and compassionate. Truly cares about patients and willing to advocate for them. Absolutely recommend her!

Dr. Trost is hands down the best physician I have seen, in general but as well as with a specialty in the treatment of eating disorders. She is understanding, compassionate, and believes in her patients and their ability to recover. She is with you every step of the way, supporting you medically and otherwise. I highly recommend that those suffering from eating disorders seek her help. She is an excellent physician and a beautiful human. I feel so grateful to have crossed paths with her during such a difficult time in my life.

Had three visits so far, for an eating disorder. Dr Trost is very compassionate, knowledgable and dedicated to my care. I feel very blessed to have her on my team.

She doesn't listen to what you are saying. I had appointments with her weekly for an illness with which she misdiagnosed me. Every week of treatment made me sicker and she failed to do anything until I was sent to the emergency room. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

Got official results from the biopsy which indicate that i have bad news. However, i have never heard back from her how to read these results and if it means i have cancer. More than three days passed since the results were released and she is still silent while i lost my sleep.

I would highly recommend Dr. Trost to anyone. She is a wonderful doctor and really cares about her patients. Each visit I have had with her, she is on time and spends quality time with me addressing my concerns- I never feel that she is rushing the visit. She makes you feel very comfortable and open in communicating. Excellent Care!
