Dr. Melanie Lee Zahner, MD

The whole office is either family or friends of the Zagners. The best person there was Kali the PA. It is no wonder she left. The entire front desk does indeed smirk at u & make rude comments, because they can. Dr Melanie is a competent doctor with little bedside manor. I chose to take my business elsewhere after the nasty RN - who is family, berated me on the phone. There r many other competent dermatologists who will treat u with respect.

Dr Zahner has a nice presence. Seems to know her stuff. Cannot say the same for her office staff. They will remind you that you need to be early (3+times) and that if you miss the appointment you will be charged. They have set my appointments incorrectly. I’ve also had to walk out after sitting in a the office in a paper gown for 40 minutes after my appointment time. I was never told by anyone that the doctor was running late. Their office staff isn’t good. You’ll read that from other reviews too. If you have all the time in the world, please go. But if you have a schedule and need to be able to have a scheduled time to see her, don’t. You’ll be disappointed. Terrible experience. Never going back.

I waited 1 hour to get in office only to sit in examining room for an additional 15 minutes. Dr Melanie Zahner rushed in looked at spot on my nose and was rushed to run out until I said there was something on my back. She then lifted the back of my top and kept moving my bra around obnoxiously yanking on it. I was totally humiliated. I told her I can unsnap my bra for her to get a good look at my back. She said no need there is nothing there. I DO HAVE SOMETHING THERE. She spent a total of 3 minutes in the room. NEVER NEVER NEVER will I go back or recommend a doctor with beside manners like hers.

How is it that the entire staff is rude from the smirky girl at the front desk to the assistants with their IPads who are so unwelcoming? Did they all eat nails for breakfast? The whole experience dealing with these unprofessional people was awful. They all need to take a course on customer service.

Professional, personable, knowledgeable; everything I want in a doctor.

They have a message posted in the treatment rooms that says you can only have one procedure at a time. So, to get 2 moles removed you must get them checked, get one removed, get another removed in 3 appointments. That way the patient and/or insurance pays 3x. Greedy, even if it is not what is best for the patient.

Doctor seemed very knowledgeable and concerned about my issues. Very friendly doctor and staff has really helped my.

Great doctors, fell in love with my skin shortly after meeting Dr.Zahner, however, St.Charles staff if horrible! Rude Rude Rude...

I went in for two main issues, both of which were diagnosed and treated. Appropriately as they are no longer issues. There was no push for anything unnecessary. Follow up appointments were recommended to ensure viability of treatment, very responsible.

When I saw Doctor Zahner it was because he advertised evolence a new derma filler. He then said he did not recommend it. I wanted my marionette lines filled and he recommended Restylane. Also did my nasiol folds which were not bad to begin with. He wrote down that it would last six to twevle months. Within five days any improvement disappeared. I spent over twelve hundred dollars with no lasting results. When I went back to his office he was extremely rude and stated he could not guarantee the results, which was in direct conflict of what he told me. He said he could do a biopsy to prove there was Restylane still in my face!! Then he pulled his face back in a joker face display stating if I wanted that type of look I should get a facelift. He was extremely rude and condescending and did not back up what he originally told me. Very Unprofessional. He lied to me and when I pressed him on it he basically said tough luck. Do not go to his clinic.
