Dr Gundogdu listened all my concerns and health conditions with regards to my weakness on my right side, uncontrolled movements and twitches. She has run tests to rule out any issues and suggested going through CBT as a healing process, as all my tests came negative for any disease. She informed that I was suffering from protracted SSRI withdrawal. CBT helped me greatly and I have been able recover without any medication. She truly cares about her patients. With the increase of mental health issues within our community, sometimes we look for an answer within Neurology. She referred me to Therapy and integrative medicine which helped my neurological issues significantly.

Please avoid this Doctor at all costs. I am in the process of reporting her for gross negligence and malpractice. She is rude, does not validate your pain and essentially gaslit me into believing the neurological pain that I am very much experiencing (and have had confirmed by THREE other Doctors) was “all in my head.” She should not be practicing at all.

If you have experienced this doctorr and she treated you poorly, please report it, she was so rude and disrespectful that I was given a different physician thank goodness and able to receive proper care, but if I had been less determined this would have ended on disaster.

I likely have a genetic neurologic problem and was referred to her after I tested negative for a major genetic neurologic disease. She apparently thinks seeing patients with minor deficits who don't yet have a diagnosis (but do have EMG proven problems) is beneath her and a waste of her time. She actually told me I was wasting her time seeing her; what did I want her to do - umm see if we can find out why I am having this problem so that we know if there is anything we can do to treat it. She then said, "Well I guess I will have to examine you" and threw (not handed) a gown at me. I can't speak to her competence as I only saw her once; I can speak to her appalling bedside manner. I will not be using her again due to that.

After receiving a devastating diagnosis for which I was hospitalized for several days, she decided my symptoms were not real. It is difficult to be told your entire life has just changed and then be put on high dose steroids and then be told it is in your head. I am a dr and I try to get to know my patients she would do well to do likewise.

Competent and unhurried.

Caring she was such a caring doctor in one of the most trying time in my life well of course other then my divorce..
