Dr. Melinda Ropar Birdsall, MD

Bladder sling surgery was terribly botched. After the surgery I was in constant pain. After going back 3times she finally told me there was nothing more she could do. I had to see another MD whom I found with research to repair the horrible mess. Melinda Birdsall had the attitude “Oh well, there’s nothing more I can do”. If I could have given a negative review I would have.

I have been a patient of Dr. Birdsall for over 20 years now, and she has always been amazing. She is extremely kind, knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. Earlier this year I went through a very tough time and had to continue seeing the doctor until my health issue was taken care of. Together, we worked as a team to tackle my issue, and I am confident I was in the best hands possible for what I was going through. Her assistant Jenn is also amazing, very pleasant and always a smile on her face. Dr. Birdsall and her team are wonderful, I highly recommend her!

I have been seeing Dr. Birdsall for several years now and have had nothing but great experiences. I originally saw her after a horrible experience with a previous doctor when I had a very painful vaginal cyst, so by the time I saw Dr. Birdsall I was in quite a bit of pain and also very frustrated. She was not only very kind and supportive, but she also took care of the cyst in her office immediately. She (and I) had hoped that would take care of issue permanently, but she did tell me it could reoccur. Unfortunately it did several times over the next few years, but each time Dr. Birdsall handled the situation with care and understanding. Finally this year we made the decision it was time to (hopefully) permanently solve the situation with surgery. Dr. Birdsall, knowing how much discomfort (and soon to be pain) I was in, went the extra mile to rearrange her surgery schedule so that I could have it taken care of the very next day! She then proceeded to do a great job with the… surgery and was very attentive to the pain I was in following the surgery. She is an excellent doctor who truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Birdsall is so sweet. I was referred to her by my primary care doctor. I had to have a hysteroscopy, a polyectomy, and a D&C. She was so compassionate, caring, and sweet. She made what was a scary process for someone who had never had surgery, a very smooth experience. I would recommend anyone to her!
