She was 1.5 hours late when they had only bee open an hour. Diagnosed my issue before exam as Meralgia Parestica, which I had already diagnosed myself with via google. She offered was gabapentin, I refused due to side effects. I explained I would prefer to fix the problem vs mask it with a drug that will cause more. She then told me that since I use marijuana she wont prescribe narcotics (didn't ask for them, and already told her I can't take any they are a migraine trigger for me) She offered Cymbalta. I told her I would try it. I had horrible side effects and stopped after a day. Offered Meloxicam, I told her I was already on that. They called back, there's nothing more than can be done for this, "no treatment for MP". I took her word for it and suffered, missing Christmas, in agonizing pain for 6 months before I got a 2nd opinion. That doctor gave me a simple injection in my thigh/hip where the nerve was likely pinched and it's been gone ever since and I'm back to my life.
