Dr. Melissa Ann Delgado, MD

My initial visit was promising, and I thought I found a doctor who will listen. But no. They are pushing expensive ozone treatments that they know will not help. In addition to that, they prescribed me a course of high dose antibiotics for 2 weeks which caused me a severe case of c diff infection where I almost died. When I call them to report it, np did not even have courage to talk to me. She sent me an email and said that they will only see me with negative c diff test. I have 2 kids and I almost died from c diff because they failed to look at my history of antibiotic use and never mentioned to me c diff risk. The only caring person at the practice is Wendy - and she left the practice now. Do not waste your time! Find another doctor

Don't waste your time or money seeing this doctor. First of all, I missed my first appt because no one sent me the TeleMed Details. When I reached out. No apologies. Nothing. When I finally got to speak to her she dominates the call. She doesn't let you speak. How are you supposed to know your patient this way? I sent her labs to review. She never reviewed them and we never got to talk about the real reason I made the appt. It was a complete waste of time.

I went to see Dr Delgado because I saw reviews saying she was a good doctor. My experience was quite the opposite. I was looking for a woman doctor who possibly would understand and assist me with my pelvic pain. Not only did she really not care about what I was going through she wanted to put me on birth control, which in the beginning of our conversation I told her due my health risks was was unable to take hormones. She then went on staying she would put in the nuvar ring. Once again I told her I could not do any hormones. She did over $1200 in tests, this did not include her $431 visit. I have been trying to get my results over three months now. I have left at least 10 messages myself and my primary doctor has also tried to contact and get the results several times. It is going on four months. I rate this doctor POOR. Does not listen, did nothing to help with my problem, did lots of tests and never any return calls about my tests. Big waste of my money and time!!!

I have seen Dr. Delgado for Interstitial Cystitis since Sep. 2017. She is the most caring, knowledgeable and kind specialist I have ever seen for my health problems. She listens with patience and discusses the best treatment options. I have been able to go back to work after six months of bed rest. I can never thank her enough. Her office staff especially her manager are awesome, kind and helpful in every way. They are always organized and on time for seeing their patients. I have been and will recommend Dr. Delgado and her office to my family and friends for sure.

Dr. Delgado is amazing. She is very thorough during the exam and explains her findings. She has answered questions I've had for years; no other doctor could find the answer. She also takes my lifestyle and history into consideration when determining the best treatment. If I ever have a question or concern, her staff is always friendly and patient when helping me. They never show signs of annoyance, even if I end up calling several times a day with questions :) I love that Dr. Delgado is eager to use natural remedies if her patient is interested in doing so. I hate taking medication, so she keeps that in mind. Dr. Delgado and her staff are a blessing. It's near impossible to find a good doctor these days, especially a GYN.

They never return call .. Shows they don't care. Tried calling no answer call to voice mail left messages about 9times NO CALL BACK.what a shame!!

Will do surgery for no reason, very rude and has no respect for her patients.

I had seen specialists from major universities for chronic pelvic pain- Doc fixed it!!!!!

I went in with severe constant pelvic pain, after having a previous surgical diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. She told me that I couldn't have endometriosis again (not true, endometriosis very frequently returns after surgery) and insisted I had IC even though I didn't have bladder pain or burning. She had me restrict my diet so much that I lost 15 pounds on an already underweight frame. I am thankfully she was very compassionate and generous with the pain meds all the while, but I finally gave up and saw another gynecologist who believed my endo had returned, which was later confirmed via surgery. Turned out the endo had fused my appendix to my ovary, causing the excruciating pain for almost a year of my life that I felt like myself and my partner lost. So ladies, please please please seek second opinions. If you have IC, she's probably a great choice, but I wish I had gone somewhere else much sooner.

After going through a very negative experience with another local gynecologist I found Dr. Delgado. I called crying and was put on the cancellation list with appointment scheduled for a few weeks away. I was called shortly after and my life was completely changed for the better from that call. She was kind, caring, compassionate, and a true advocate for me. I knew going in I had endometriosis and interstitial cystitis. She worked with me weekly on my bladder, going through my food journal line by line and discussing potential triggers and ways to reduce flares. She placed an IUD and was very caring through the painful process. I also had to have surgery for my endometriosis. I was a complicated case, but genuinely feel like she gave me my life back. She is strict about following the IC diet and tracking your symptoms. But if you put in the work, she is an unwavering support system for IC. She even helped with short term disability issues I was having. She is a sole practitioner, so… there can be a wait. But it was well worth it for me. I wouldn't see anyone else and would recommend her whole heartedly, and have done so with just as good of results as mine.
