I've only had pleasant experiences with Dr. Lao and I'm so happy I can get all my annual checks done by her alone! My prior PCP didn't do everything and needed to refer me to an OBGYN. I also feel like it's easy to schedule time to be seen.

If you’re a patient of this doctor and you’re black I would advise you to seek another doctor ASAP. I wrote a review on her back in 2015. I went in for my annual check up. And she was very passive aggressive. She even laughed at me while I described my medical issues that I was having at the time. I filed a grievance against her back then but nothing ever came of it. She was my doctor at Mercy clinic off olive blvd. I ended up stop going to mercy clinics all together because of this horrible experience. If you are her patient I would look for a new doctor she’s very racist and doesn’t care about her patients health.
