Dr. Melissa Lusky Tabin, PhD

Dear Dr., When you meet a new patient, please introduce yourself or at least say hello. You can't just open the door and tell my kid to walk into the office with you without telling us who you are or saying anything else. Please don't take it personally but that was unprofessional and rude. Take care and I hope you are doing well.

Melissa recently helped us through a tough period with our son. His ADHD and undeveloped executive functioning skills led to a situation where it was clear the public school system was not a match. Melissa guided and supported us through the stressful and confusing process of finding a more appropriate private school program. Melissa is professional and empathetic, and she has a gift for asking thoughtful questions and then proposing calm and focused solutions. We always felt comfortable and safe when sharing our fears and concerns. When you work with Melissa, it is clear she has a deep understanding of child and educational psychology. But, what sets her apart from others is her genuine care and concern for her clients. If it was not for Melissa, I’m not sure we would have ended up with such a positive outcome. I would highly recommend Melissa to anyone seeking exceptional child and family counseling.

Dr Tabin is more than a psychologist. She is a life saver. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. We have known Dr.Tabin for over 6 years and she has worked with every member of our family and we are a functioning family unit thanks to her. She has not only helped our children with school,sibling and any issue, but has helped us become better parents as well. She goes above and beyond and does so with care and kindness and professionalism that cant be matched. If someone really knows Dr. Tabin,they know to look no further for anything they need therapy for. We have recommended her to many friends who share our view. She is a treasure in this city. We are so lucky

We started seeing Dr. Tabin 4 years ago when our son was having anxiety. I don’t even know how to explain what a difference we saw in our son after he started with Dr. Tabin. We loved her so much, that we took our other son to her for behavioral issues. Then we decided to do play therapy with both boys since we saw such an improvement in them individually and wanted them to get along better. Dr. Tabin is one of the most amazing and special people that I have ever metin my life. I have friends that use Dr. Tabin as well, and we all discuss how we wouldn’t survive without her in our lives! I told her that she better stay part of our family’s life forever because she’s made such a difference in our lives and we are so appreciative of her!

Alienated the family and was extremely controlling, rude and unprofessional

We know Dr. Taben for a few years now. Us and our kids are very happy with her. She's caring, professional, loves kids and knowledgeable.

My daughter had academic testing for school admission with Dr.Tabin, we we're pleased with communication and the testing process.
