Dr Melissa Andrew Martin

I have received good care from her so far. But my experience has been routine visits.

I saw Dr. Martin during my pregnancy and the delivery of my first child. I was always nervous and had many questions throughout my pregnancy. She is wonderful and made me feel very comfortable, and answered every question I had, she never made me feel like any question was ridiculous, even though looking back, I'm sure some were. Her nurses Janine and Kelly were great, they have a way of making you feel like you are their favorite patient, or personal friend. It was a wonderful experience.I'm happy my pregnancy is over and I am blessed with a handsome son I can't get enough of, but I will miss my weekly visits with my "friends". On the negative side, the secretarial staff always seemed crabby, especially the older woman, every time I've been there she has seemed mad, and put out. I over heard her complaining about another patient, making everyone in the waiting room feel uncomfortable. There was about 4 other people in the waiting room, as we all made eye contact with each other, … another patient had said, she was a long time patient of Dr. Dixon, and the older women was always like that.

This MD would not take into consideration my personal needs and dismissed my requests when they varied from the cookie cutter pregnancy process. I wish my healthcare was MY healthcare and not one size fits all especially when it has no risk to my health or the health of my baby.
