Dr. Melissa M Mortensen, MD

I went to her because of my breathing problems. After reading all the great reviews I had big hopes. she asked me a couple questions, observed my nose and said yes I can see that you have breathing problems, but I cannot help you with that, you need to go to another doctor.for that she charged me $300 after the insurance paid their part. The she prescribed a nose spray that would have cost me $200. I never had anything near that amount so far charged. It is unbelievable to me how she thought this was ok. Of course I did not get it because this is just ridiculous. So to me she is not a good doctor, but somebody who is just trying to overcharge!

After arriving at 2:33 for a 2:30 appt - we were asked to fill out paper work and made to wait until 2:55 - only to be told the doctor refused to see us as we were 15 minutes late for our appt. We were told their system had our appt as 2:15. After explaining my daughter is away at college and cannot reschedule so easily - we were told the doctor would still not see her. After asking why we were asked to complete a packet of forms and wait for 25 minutes rather than being turned away upon arrival - I was told they had many patients to check in and didn't realize we were late. I am completely taken back by the unprofessionalism of this office.

What a GREAT Doctor. Kind,understanding, she truly listens. She takes her time answer all questions so willing to explain, what to do what to expect.Had vocal cord surgery she did such a great job. She checked up on me, went above what most doctors do . I can't thank her enough

DR. MORTENSEN TAKES TIME TO LISTEN TO LISTEN AND SHOWS GENUINE CONCERN. ALSO ANSWERS ANY QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE. WOULD RECOMMEND TO FAMILY

If you need a ent she is gentle informative i would recommend her highly!
