Dr. Melissa Palmer

I have no complaints , my mom died if colon cancer. I used Dr Palmer for my colonoscopies for years, . I thought she was great

No specific complaint on Dr. Palmer or her office when I went for office visits. My main complaint is that she retired and I did not receive one phone call or letter from her office. How do I get my medical records at this point? I think that is highly unprofessional.

the medical profession could learn alot by following this practitioners example with patietn care and continuing to be involved with research, her commitment is exemplatory- Please, change your mind and continue to practice/ treat me. Dang- I thought we'd always know each other- you will be so missed!

I've been seeing Dr. Palmer for the last 8 years, since I've been diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis. She has been extremely generous with her time and knowledge. she is the only doctor i trust with my health. she really is a great doctor. after having other complications from my illness and treatment she has been very firm with other doctors in making sure they do the work and follow through!

Melissa Palmer has to be the worst doctor I have ever had the un-pleasurable opportunity to meet. My wife ended up in the hospital and Melissa Palmer refused to treat her because we didn't use her friend Dr Fielding as a surgeon. She might know her medicine, but lacks in her obligation to treat people no matter what! She told the attending doctor that she dropped my wife as patient because my wife didn't call her while she was in a hospital bed with extreme complications from a colon infection. Dr Palmer had already diagnosed my wife with cirrhosis of the liver. She hung up of me when I was trying to ask her what we were to do now that my wife was in the hospital, all Dr palmer would say was that my wifes gall bladder had to come out and that the doctors at Southside Hospital were all kinds of test they didn't need to do. Turns out the gall bladder is fine and doesnt have to come out. By the way any surgery would have adversely affected the liver. Dr Palmer needs to revaluate how she… handles her patients and stop appearing on TV shows. She has lost touch with her real purpose for becoming a doctor!!

Great docter when it comes to writing books , knows her stuff. As a person she is heartless and has NO compassion. If you benefit her research and her numbers then shes perfect. If you would like to treated and discarded like trash when your condition doesnt improve or gets worse shes the perfect docter. Theres a right way to treat people and theres a wrong way when u drop a patient she makes it her priority to choose the wrong way.

Knowledgeable in her field of expertise but can be irrational and nasty. Zero bedside manner.

Doctor Palmer saved my life twice. After being treated for Hep C by varrious doctors that were only treating my symptoms over many years I found Dr Palmer.All she did was look at the med records I brought with me and told me I should have been on the transplant list two years ago. She sent me to NYU Medical center where I was imediatly put on the list. If I had a more common blood type I might not have lived long enought to get a liver. After I recieved my new liver she cured the Hep C.
