This woman hands false autism diagnoses and unapproved medication around like candy. Without getting too into things, she negatively impacted my life and mental health immensely. Please do not take your child here.

Our world was turned upside down after having the very unfortunate experience of meeting Dr. Melissa Prezklasa Auth. We made a HUGE mistake in selecting her to assess our child for a POSSIBLE autism diagnosis. Truthfully we should have done more research to determine that autism and related assessments are something she does NOT specialize in. First off, delivering the news to parents that your child may be autistic is something that should be done delicately. That can be, after all, a life changing diagnosis. We arrived on time for our appointment, were seen 15 minutes late and in less than 15 minutes time without discussing our child's medical history, getting a full understanding of our home life, reviewing the school's assessment (which by the way said nothing about autism) nor evaluating our child outside of our presence, she was able to say UNEQUIVOCALLY that our child has autism. It was matter of fact, devoid of emotion or concern for what that might mean to us. She… shuffled paperwork and pamphlets at us to seek further care (most of which were not reputable and were riddled with misspellings) and gave us a "prescription" to give to our school and insurance company to determine what services we could get. She then felt it necessary to discuss her own family/children (none of whom have autism) and let us know that she hadn't yet had enough coffee and was tired. We were done in less than 45 minutes. LESS THAN 45 MINUTES! We left the office astounded, without words, crushed by the fact that a supposed reputable physician would deliver such damaging news without any sort of thought or care and send us on our way. So many emotions, questions and fears swirling in our minds. Dr. Auth's reckless behavior was damaging and severe enough for us to write this review. We will NEVER go back, NEVER recommend her and have since had a second opinion at a far superior organization that has informed us that we are not the only MISDIAGNOSED family they have worked with coming from Dr. Auth. Beware - she may be proficient in neurology but autism is something she knows NOTHING about!

We've been seeing Dr. P for several years and she is easy to get in touch with, willing to try and research different avenues for treatment. I can't recommend her enough!
