Dr. Melissa Beth Ramocki, MD

Saw her for the first time due to worsening balance issues and she said I was fine, vestibular test showed nothing to worry about. Showed her my MRI from 3 yrs ago revealing brain atrophy abnormal for person of my age, told her I was very concerned about that worsening. It was as though she wasn’t even listening to what I was saying, kept saying I’m fine & there’s nothing wrong with me. She then had the audacity to sarcastically say, “would you rather I diagnose you with some horrible disease?” I was shocked. This appointment was a complete waste of my time, I now know who I will not be recommending my patients to see for neurological issues.

Waited while doctor saw another patient at my appointment time, 3:00. At 4:10 I walked out. I was very frustrated since I arranged my entire day to be at the office by 2:50 so as not to keep doctor waiting. Will look for another doctor. My time is as valuable as the doctor’s.

After waiting over an hour between my vestibular test and seeing Dr. Ramocki, she immediately put me on the defensive regarding her views regarding chronic lyme disease, which I suffer from and suspect contribute to my balance disorder. She spent the next several minutes refuting all of my previous test results, even googling one of the labs right in front of me to try to prove her point. I found her to be rude and condescending. If you have tick borne disease don't waste your time as her views are narrow minded and her knowledge limited and outdated.

Dr. Ramocki is very pleasant and easy to converse with, and listened intently while I related my unusual balance problems. The impressive balance testing devices are situated at her practice in East Greenwich, which makes them very convenient. I was able to receive an assessment quickly after the testing was completed. I was very glad that I found her, and would recommend her to anyone who is experiencing balance problems.

Dr. Ramocki in 20 minutes figured out why I was suffering with dizziness and after leaving her office I have not had any more dizzy spells. I cannot thank her enough for what she did for me and highly recommend her.

Dr. Ramocki and the staff at Texas Children's Hospital in the Blue Bird Clinic are wonderful! My daughter's epilepsy is now under much better control since our visit.

I am so appreciative of Dr. Ramocki's patience and for not giving up on trying to find a diagnosis for my daughter. We are now hooked into a wonderful support network for her rare disorder. If your child has a neurological problem, I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Ramocki diagnosed my child when no one else was able to and we are forever grateful.
