Melody O'dell, APRN, FNP-C

Melody O’Dell, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Bullard. She sees patients 5 years and older, and especially enjoys helping patients manage acute conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and women’s health concerns. Melody believes in developing a strong patient-provider relationship based on trust and communication. "My care philosophy is to provide high-quality care with compassion, respect and understanding. I strive to care for each patient the same way I would care for a family member or friend,” she said. Melody chose healthcare because it seemed to her to be the best profession for merging her servant’s heart and her talent for critical thinking. When not treating patients, Melody enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, Pilates and traveling. She loves to visit Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and South Fork, Colorado.
