Dr. Melvin Douglas Gerald, MD

In my 47 years on this Earth, I have never had to report a practice to my insurance. I have a horible finger infection, for which I have been to ER twice. Gerald Family Care refuses to give me a referral for a hand specialis (which the ER said was mandatory); without an appoiintment with them for 3 weeks from now. This was after nont being able to reach anyone by phone for 5 days. They only care about money and are NEVER available. I wish I could give 0 stars. How is this place still existing?

I have been a patient since he begin his practice. We believe I was his first patient. I love his frankness, how he handles delicate information and his referrals to the best practioners. I hope I never have to have another doctor.

Scheduled appointment:If my scheduled appointment is @10amTriage within 5-10 minI expect to see the Dr. within 15-20 mins.When you sit and wait over 2hours to see a doctor, means that the staff has poorly scheduled appointments and/or schedule patients 4 to 5 in a 10am window. which we all know, no one Dr. can see 4 paitents at once
