Dr. Mervyn Winston Smith, MD

Dr. Smith was my doctor until he left Grandrapids. He is a very caring and understanding Dr. He gives you excellent quality care and if something he can’t fix, he has no problem referring you to someone who can. Mary W

Dr Mervyn Smith is absolutely great. He has been my doctor for several years. HE CARES! He listens, he spend time talking to you. He explains things so that you can understand. I what love most about him, he's honest and upfront.

I had Dr. Smith as a doctor starting in 1995 when I was pregnant for my first child. He made me feel very at ease from the first moment we met. He not only delivered my first child in 1995, but my third in 1997. For my second, he was in the elevator and missed the whole thing in 1996. He was my dad's doctor and when there wasn't anything that could be done for dad, he sat with me and my husband and was very compassionate and caring, but he also told it like it was. He never, ever lied to us. I moved away from the area in 2004, and changed doctor's, but I find myself comparing them to Dr. Smith and believe me, I miss him like crazy! In my opinion, he is a great doctor and a loving, compassionate, caring man.
