Dr. Meyer Alan Horn, MD

Curious that the people here who gave this doctor good reviews say that the people who gave him bad reviews are ridiculous and probably the same person writing multiple reviews. In my case , I had pretty bad side effects to a treatment. When I asked about this, he said that I had been warned that this could happen. In fact, he had given me something in writing which made no mention of the reaction I had. I pointed this out and was told that he would gladly recommend another doctor. Didn’t want to deal with the issue. This isn’t the caring , professional that other people describe here.

I've been seeing Dr. Horn for years for my skin. I have multiple moles and he's removed quite a few. They all heal beautifully. He also has excellent bedside manner and is very astute to diagnoses.

One of the best derm docs here in Chicago.

I can't imagine Dr Horn EVER giving the wrong diagnosis or medicine to a patient. The "bad" reviews he has gotten are ridiculous. He is extremely professional and a VERY caring individual who in my opinion, goes above and beyond in patient care. I have recommended him to everyone I know. You will never be disappointed with Dr. Horn or his staff.

Terrible experience with this doctor. Failed to provide accurate diagnosis and prescribed incorrect medication. Failed to perform necessary blood tests required for the medication, which is extremely dangerous. Terrible doctor.

He is the worst Dermatalogist ever screen he do not spend enough time in listening the issue and morever he is giving medicine which is not recommended by American Medical council and ask to try this. Do not ever go this guy and ruin yourself.

Dr Horn is great. I am not sure what is going on with the reviews below - seems like the same person writing bashing reviews over and over (just basing that on the fact that the there is poor grammar and inaccurate word usage throughout the bashing reviews). Dr. Horn has been treating me and my wife for several years and is very accurate and thorough. I would recommend him (and have recommended him) to anyone in need of a dermatologist.

I've been going to Dr. Horn for several years now for my issues with eczema. The otc medications he's suggested have always worked, the prescriptions he's given (when I have really bad outbreaks) always help. His bedside manner is phenomenal and I've never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. I always suggest him to my family and friends.

Worst Doctor ever seen.Dont even think of going to this guy.He can be a businessman rather than a doctor.He will talk nicely and all his staffs alwasy ask your insuranc and copay..My treatment went horrible .He totally ruin me.Now i am looking into a different doctor because of the side effects.Also these guys are removing the reviews given in the websites and keeping only high rating star for thier business .Dont belive this guy...He is cheater.According to me he is not a good professional doctorBe careful...This is purely based on my personal experience and the problem still facing because of that.

Dont go to this doctor,very bad diagonsis just giving a prescription in a used rough paper, giving sample medicine which is not advisable ,approved and usable across the world. I forget to review this doctor and because of this i am in deep trouble now. Dont even turn to his directions....that is safe...
