Dr. Mhd Yahia Zeino, MD

He doesn’t seem to care if the procedures he does hurts you or not. He is deaf to your concerns and his bedside manner is non existent.

Zeino was my moms OB, and when I found I was pregnant, he became my OB. I had a lot of issues while pregnant, and he helped tremendously. Always went above and beyond. My son was a big baby, 8lbs 12.7oz 3 weeks early. Zeino knee we would have shoulder dystocia, which most OBs would make you get a c section, and I did not want one. He induced me early, and was there the whole time from induction to delivery. He even cane by the next day to check in, and the rest of my stay he stopped by once or twice a day. He’s one of the best OBs in Illinois. Hands down. I also had never been to a gynecologist before I was pregnant so at first having a male gynecologist was nerve racking, but Zeino made it 100% comfortable and easy. I recommend him 100,000x

I work in the OR. When I needed a surgery, I switched to Dr. Zeino and knew I will be in good hands. Yes he has an accent, but when it comes to skills he is one of the best laparoscopic surgeons in town.

I have mixed feelings about him. He is very knowledgeable about my pregnancy it seems, but bedside manner is not so great, either is the feeling that he really cares, I guess I have become accustomed to him but do get frustrated sometimes.

I found Dr. Zeino somewhat willing to assist me. His bedside manner and listening skills leave much to be desired. His lack of empathy and caring is atrocious. He seems fine for regular annual checkups, but I wouldn't see him for anything else that is complicated and could be shoved off on another specialty. If I had a choice with my insurance, I wouldn't go to SIU anyway.

Dr. Zeino is a very intelligent and caring doc. I wish I saw him 1o years ago. From the first visit, he diagnosed my problem and solved it.

I am a patient of Dr. Zeino and so far he has been the best Gyno that I have ever had. He is extremely caring and he took as much time as I needed with me. He answered all my questions without hesitation. I think he is very intelligent and goes above and beyond what other docs do to make their patients feel comfortable. I had a question one day that I really wanted to talk to him about and within a couple hours Dr. Zeino himself called me back to answer all of my questions. I was taken aback because I am used to a nurse calling me. It made me feel a lot more comfortable knowing he cares enough to call me. I think anyone that is Dr. Zeino's patient is truly blessed!

If you have a chance to pick a different doctor...do so.
