Mia Tahereh Mowzoon, MD

Dr. Mia Mowzoon is a board-eligible obstetrician-gynecologist who brings eight years of medical experience to women's healthcare. She earned her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Zucker at Hofstra Northwell Staten Island University Hospital in 2022. Her specialty focuses on comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for women throughout all stages of life. Dr. Mowzoon provides care in English.

Dr. Mowzoon practices at Covenant Medical Group in Lubbock, Texas, where she specializes in caring for expectant mothers facing unique challenges. She has particular expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and supporting women who are pregnant after age 30. Her experience includes treating gestational diabetes, helping ensure healthy outcomes for both mother and baby.
