Dr. Williams is amazing, carrying and very understanding doctor. She always is concerned about me understanding and my emotional state of dealing with my medical issues.

Dr. Williams somewhat incapacitated due to a temporary condition of her own helped me on an international flight when I had inadvertently overdosed on medication. I was so scared and she also guided me and the airline staff on what to do to make sure I didn’t pass away or worsen. It was one of the most scary and embarrassing moments of my life and she helped me beyond anything I could ask. God answered my prayers once again that day with her help on that flight. Thank you Dr. Williams.

I started using Dr. Williams at the recommendation of one of the hospital doctors at UCSF. I have a rare, complex disease, and she has an interest in complex patients and helping them maximize quality of life. She is a patient, compassionate listener, and she's very efficient and organized but I never feel like I'm being rushed through an appointment. Since I switched to UCSF, she and the other doctors at UCSF have greatly improved my symptom management. She's obviously quite smart, and also willing to admit when she doesn't know something. I get the sense that she works really hard even outside of my appointments to contact my other doctors and also make sure that all of my referrals, prescriptions, etc., are working out. She is easy to get a hold of through the online patient portal. I've also been very impressed with the communication between her and my other doctors at UCSF and even other institutions. UCSF overall seems to facilitate collaboration between doctors better than many… places. I hope Dr. Williams stays at UCSF for a very long time!
