Dr. Mia Miika Wright, MD

I have been going to Dr. Wright for 15 years. She is a highly competent and compassionate doctor who presents the positive and negatives of all treatment decisions. I have the highest regard for her knowledge and medical opinion and have been the recipient of her compassionate demeanor. Its never fun to go to the gynocologist but the front desk, Dr. Wright and her assistant do their upmost to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience with Dr. Mia Wright. As the title clearly states, she is rude and condescending. I am a medical student and I get graded on patient interaction. If I spoke to patients the way that Dr. Wright spoke to me, I would surely fail that segment of my grading. I only had one appointment with Dr. Wright and I have no intention on continuing to see her. Dr. Wright needs to take some classes on how to properly interact with patients. The M.D. behind her name gives her no license to make her patients feel stupid or inferior.

I had a terrible child birth experience having an emergency c-section. I had never met her prior and she happened to be on call. I and the baby were in a lot of distress very quickly. it was a busy day afternoon at the hospital and she had few patients on the floor. however, i didnt see her open. my baby was in distress and i wish she called for the c-section rather sooner than later.

It's to believe it's the same Doctor they are talking about. The front desk staff aren't professional or friendly. They are rather rude but my visit with Dr Wright was great. She was very compassionate. I was comfortable with her & she seems knowledgeable.

Dr Wright is an excellent physician. She's been my doctor for over 10 years. When I was first referred to her, she was the fourth physician I had seen in a day. She was the only person who accurately diagnosed me, a 21yo at the time, with ovarian cancer. While other doctors had suggested a total hysterectomy, Dr Wright was able to perform fertility sparing surgery-the next day. She has always demonstrated a superior level of knowledge, while taking time to explain various aspects of my cindition with sincerity and concern. I appreciate her wit and ability to interject levity at the right time. She's always made her self available to answer questions. I've never felt embarrassed to ask a basic or personal question. Over the years she has superbly delivered only excellent care to meet all of my medical needs. Dr Wright is highly recommended!

My visit with "Dr." Mia Wright and her "medical assistant" was very unpleasant. My original doctor retired and gave me a list of names to choose from, this Dr. was the first one to have an available appointment for my annual checkup, so I took it. As soon as she walked in the room her attitude was far from professional which was a turn off. I asked one question and the look along with the uneducated response was enough for me to know that I would never make an appointment with this woman again. I read a few negative reviews on Dr. Wright however I took the chance since she was on the list of recommendations. I'm in my late 20s and take my health seriously. I expect the doctors I see to take their jobs and my health seriously and perform their daily job functions with professionalism. She has this attitude as if someone is forcing her to work there. I left the appointment with more questions than answers, more frustration than satisfaction however a relief that there were more doctors… to choose from. If you would like to learn about what your doctor recommends to you, have a doctor that reads what is in your chart and follows up, and has the mental capacity to hold a two minute conversation on what he/she is getting paid to do then Dr. Mia Wright will not aid in this process.

Dr. Wright had a compassionate, professional manner and made me feel at ease.

I went to Dr. Wright and right away she was rude and condescending from the very first visit. She called me the scary patient because I was on blood thinners. Very unprofessional. She did not biopsy me before having a procedure that specified that it sould be determined first if the patient had a cancerous or pecancerous condition. Turned out that I did! Mean while she insisted that I had this procedure and then even bullied me to come out during a dangerous ice/snow storm to have it instead of allowing me to reschedule. I ended up having to have a hysterectomy as a result of this. She insisted that I have the hysterectomy done by a surgeon that she was affiliated with even though he did not except my insurence. I ended up getting another doctor to do my hysterctomy. She is dishonest and incompetant. When I tried telling her about how I felt about the care I recieved, she just hung up on me. Do not go to this doctor if you value your care and your sanity!

Almost died during my c-section. Enough said.
