Dr. Micah Shawn Blackmon, MD

What can I say about Dr. Blackmon and his office staff, Rude, inconsiderate, and disrespectful. This Doctor does not care anything about his patients, I have tried to get him to do a peer to peer with my United Health care for 2 years now and he refuses. He is the one that told me I needed to be screened for Cancer for 5 years and yet he is unwilling to help with justification for the insurance company. Piedmont or Doctor Blackmon or both only care about money and I get it everyone has to be paid and this one is not about money for me as I pay all fees the first 2700 out of pocket and willing to do so. It's terrible when someone goes through cancer and even more terrible when the doctors you go to don't care about your wellbeing after the procedures or surgery. Want to give a huge contribution to the problem Katie his assistant, This women needs a new career, she is rudy and nasty.. Refuses to call you back after weeks and weeks of messages. Dr. Blackmon if you read this you… should invest more time and effort into actually hearing your patients. If you see this and are not aware of what's going on then my apologies, I suggest fire your staff and hire people that understand what adversities folks are going through.

Dr. Blackmon is the most careing and compassionate Doctor. I trust my health to him.

horrible experience. this dr. did not read my hospital tests and therefore i did not know that i had cysts on my kidney until weeks later at another md. never go here.

Could not be more pleased with the treatment I received from Dr. Blackmon.

Dr Blackmon listens to his patients and does take the time to discuss treatment options. So far ,he is awesome !
