Arrogant and careless doctor not taking time to care for his patients. Leaving patient unattended at the time of delivery without proper care and causing labor complications. Beware and find another doctor

I am pregnant and in need of regular check-ups and ultrasound diagnostic (3 months in). So far I went through 2 ultrasounds and Dr visits, and both of these appoinments turned into a nightmare. Here is why: I live in the burbs, but work downtown and when I have Dr appointment I usually take a day off work ( PTO) as it doesn’t make sense for me to keep going back and fourth between work and home. Both times the Drs office called me and canceled my appointment LAST MINUTE (The day of the appointment) claiming that yet one more emergency occurred... Dr’s staff are EXTREMELY rude and non accomodating! My request to schedule me for a different Dr the same day was ignored, they said that I would need to make arrangements for a different day...so one more day off work. Eventually his assistant didn’t help me, didn’t redirect me to a differrent Dr, yelled at me and hung up! If he allows his staff to treat patients like that, it speaks mountains about the poor care that this practice… provides

Doctor Garb is just wonderful. He truly listens and shows a great deal of concern for you. I had a very strange and painful condition that took some time to diagnose, and he was just great the whole way through - never giving up despite the difficulty of determining what was going on. He brought on a specialist to assist and ultimately I had surgery to remove my ovaries and Fallopian tubes, which solved the problem and returned me to health and vitality. I couldn't be more grateful.

He is a little weird but other than that a great guy! Was flirting with me while he got ready to examine me. He was washing his hands and lost the soap he said sorry I'm a little too soap happy! Then he said I can call him whenever I want.

Dr. Garb is amazing. I've been a patient of his for several years and have had 2 babies under his care. He is compassionate, knowledgable and has a great bedside manner. He actually made the time in the delivery room fun (as much fun as it could have been), because of his personality. He also called me during the rough times of my pregnancy to make sure I was feeling better. Best doctor. Highly recommend.

Dr. Garb's compassion makes him one of the best doctors I've ever encountered. He makes me feel safe in his care as he listens and I don't have to second-guess him.

Dr. Garb is so knowledgeable, he knows exactly how to treat any diagnostic. In every visit, he spends a few minutes asking questions about how things have been since your last visit. He is very caring as well as professional.

I had my 1st child with a different dr. in his practice, but when she left, I went to Dr. Garb. I loved him...had a c-section and everything went well, healed quickly, and he's super nice. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Garb has a wonderful bedside manner, he puts you at ease right away, I had a sensitve procedure done, and he was very caring and stepped you through the whole procedure.

I am a first time Chicago patient & wasn't too sure about this choice but a dr. recommended him to me & so far I am content & feel good about him. He is patient, nice & caring & is well versed with knowledge. Office staff is nice and professional & my calls are retured the same day. I highly recommend him....
