Terrible bedside manner. He was in a very big hurry and did not spend more than five minutes talking with me. After consulting with another doctor for a second opinion, it is clear there are some real issues that need to be addressed with my back. I would not recommend Dr. Smith, nor will I return to him. I didn’t feel he cared at all about the pain I was in, or what was causing it. I felt like I wasted my time (and money)looking for help there.

Dr smith fused me in a hunched over position causing back pain. Go to a neurospine physician if possible

I had terrible sciatic pain in my leg,I couldn't put any weight on my right foot and wanted to get a cortisone shot for sciatica. Went to Dr.Smith and they took 5 Xrays,didn't see any problems. I was looking at my paperwork when I got home and not 1 mention of sciatica pain.I was prescribed muscle relaxers and a steroid pack of prednisone. He said he could not inject cortisone without an MRI$$$ .I had been given cortisone shots by Dr.Maddux without an MRI. I think Dr.Maddux would have given the cortisone shot instead of a bunch of pills that just dope me up. I think Dr.Smith is probably a fine doctor,but who ever I spoke to first at ortho one should have let me stick with Dr. Maddux,because the pain from sciatica could be relieved much more effectively with a cortisone injection

He was very thorough and listened to my concerns. I would highly recommend him. No complaint whatsoever. One of the best bedside manners and a very Courteous staff too.

Will NEVER return to this doctor. He came into room over an hour late. He did not know my history from his own clinic chart- and left room twice to reviews existing studies ordered by him that were the reason for my visit. His bedside manner was horrible, he lacked eye contact and failed to listen to my concerns.
