Dr. Michael George Anderson, MD

This practice has been closed, at the time of this writing, for more than a year. They kept their patients hanging under the pretense of being "temporarily closed" due to water damage, but have posted no updates for 8 months now and deserted everyone. You could have demolished and built a new office in less time they claimed their office was being repaired.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. The entire practice is full of confused, incompetent employees. The doctor has referred us to an ENT THREE TIMES, yet my child passed all of the ENT testing and does not need further ENT care. The staff is rude, Lisette in particular. I have never been treated so poorly by a staff member, especially in management. My children have been attending this physician's office for 5 years, but we will not be returning. Please save yourself time and sanity and look elsewhere for pediatric care.

This MD/NP team are awesome. They give their all in helping my child every time I am there. I have absolutely no complaints. I can tell they really care about their patients!

This guy is beyond incompetent. He misdiagnoses and has some real issues that he has yet to deal with. He holds a law degree and intermingles being an attorney with being an MD. Don't ask him to sign a physical form...that's another whole crazy ball of wax. I left due to fear for my child's safety. Anytime I have brought his name up in a school meeting, I get lots of feedback from people who have had dealings with him. Nothing that has been said has been positive. Don't subject yourself or your child to this practice. Find someone else...for your sake.

He claims to be able to treat ADD/ADHD and becomes offended when you want a referral for a child psychologist. We started seeing him not long after my child was diagnosed with autism, ADHD, etc. I was worried about my son's walk, was told he was fine. I was concerned about his diet and sleep issues, those were MY issues. I was given ridiculous hand outs on properly feeding and good sleep routines. This particular child was 7 at the time. Also not my 1st. This isn't new to me. When I would explain wr have tried everything, I was blown if and given the same hand outs again. He refused to discuss other med options and became irritated when I told him we give my child melatonin to sleep at night but I need other options. Never ever remembered my child's preferred name or his diagnosis, even when I had a note added to the front of the chart. It was as if he didn't even read the chart. This office is completely ignorant regarding autism. I'm beyond angry and frustrated. My child has made… huge progresses since left his office a few months ago. We are finally on the proper medication and have referrals to start all of his therapies. That funny walk I mentioned? My child should have been in physical therapy years ago. His poor diet that is my fault? We are finally working with 2 specialist to help because of the major sensory issues (and Dr. Anderson was aware) including a GI doctor because SURPRISE there is actually a real problem. Getting the proper referrals and records sent ANYWHERE took over a month. I had high hopes for this place. There is so much more to complain about, wait times, lack of parking, giving unnecessary antibiotics, ignoring swollen lymph nodes. RUN

A Children's Hospital pediatric center in Canton Georgia. A Individualized and personal. A private professional practice and not the generic big corporate hospital. clinic. We drive from Atlanta to this practice.

This doctor prescribes the drug adderall for children with below average grades. This is dangerous and irresponsible treatment, for what is more likely improper home life, diet, sleep, etc. Schools must work with families to improve the child's environment and life style. Do not drug out children. This can damage their body and mind forever.

I have been taking my child to Dr. Anderson for 2 years (since birth) and I am switching pediatricians. I have given him the benifit of the doubt in misdiagnosing two skin conditions, but I find myself not trusting his judgement after other minor issues (referring my child to a speacialist I really didn't need to go see). The appointment times are unreasonable. My average length of an appointment (time in to time leaving) has been 2 HOURS! I understand that doctors run behind occaisionally, but this is a consistent problem (10+ times over the past 2 years). I was hoping for the small office feel, but I have been disappointed that after two years my child is just another chart in the practice. I really wish my experience had been better, but I need a pediatrician whose judgement I can trust.

Dr A & Mrs A are the kind of genuine people we all hope to know. My kids love them. They take the time to get it right. My kids have both allergies and ADHD so we are needing a good doctor. Lucky we found you Dr A. Your kind wife Mrs A is very nice too. Thank you both for caring.
