Dr. Michael Arden Gomez Perdon, MD

Even though I was early for my appointment, Dr. Perdon didn't want to answer the few questions I had and seemed rushed. He told me to start taking B-12, but didn't clarify if I should keep taking the other B vitamins I was taking and he rushed out the door. I asked the hispanic staff in the room and she said I would just take the B-12. I explained I would like to know what the doctor advises and asked her to find out and let me know. She never did and obviously didn't want to be bothered. Months later I had a serious concern about my lab results & symptoms, after waiting half a day; his office said he couldn't see me because he was leaving early that day and he refused to even give me any advice over the phone.

Really nice doctor but it is such a hassel to get an appointment. Staff is rude but they know everything and we are just stupid patients. Also look out for the upselling. Supposedly, Dr. Perdon has a rule that he will not see you unless you are current with your annual physical. I was 3 months past due but got a call saying he would not see me for a previously arranged six month follow up unless I agreed to do a physical. I interpreted this as, "I need to bill for more than just a follow up." (Yes I know physicals are important but don't make it an ultimatum - especially when it is only 3 months past due.) He got me with this one time before. I let him talk me into a full physical because it "was covered under my insurance" according to him. After lung x-rays, some cardiac test and every blood test known to mankind, yours truly gets a bill that "isn't covered under insurance". So I don't know if it is him or the way they run things there but no thank-you. I hope you have better luck… with him.
