Dr. Michael Lynn Bailey, DO

Dr Bailey is awesome. He and his entire staff are wonderful He treats his patients with care and respect and always listens to every word you say. I have been going to hi for about 3 1/2 years and am delighted with every treatment he has done for me. My daughter is also a patient and loves him as well. A very tender sweet and kind doctor who is always on the mark in taking care of his patients.

My lil boy is 4 and was prescribed MONTELUKAST at least a year ago. He was living with my grandma at that time because I was in jail for a few months. Anyway she told me he was taking it for allergies and I always gave him childrens benadryl so I was already worried that giving him a prescription for it was too much. Most likely she thought this was better because she wouldnt have to buy anything medicaid paid for the MONTELUKAST. I asked if she had him tested for allergies and she said no. She told me he needed it and I kept protesting it to no avail. Until I regained custody just a few days ago she was STILL giving it to him! I have printed off facts about it even some horror stories with symptoms similar to his trying to convince her but she wouldnt listen. Thank God that I can control it now and Im still worried about long term effects. The stories Ive read online say they go back to normal afterward - but how can u be sure thats what their normal would have been? Im extremely… concerned and he is having all the side effects that Ive been reading about. My son has bad dreams, really worried about not big problems, screams often, is mean to animals, today he told me an ant is biting him and there isnt one there-on his hands and feet at the same time, he wont really eat anything, he is really thirsty, looks malnutritioned, asks strange questions. The list just goes on. I took him off it completely and I hope that he dont need to be weaned off or anything. Im trying to find a new dr in our area, this has me frantic! I figured some of his problems (seperation anxiety, acts like im gonna leave him in the car alone, scared of everything) was from me being in jail and his way of dealing with it but its more than that. I dont know what to do about it. this dr should have seen the side effects or something he should have never been prescribed without an allergy test im so upset about this, i do not recommend this guy
